Controllerism in Electronic Performance

Student Learning Outcomes

Students will have the opportunity to map and use controllers with Mac computers and relevant software.

Whether you play in a band or you’re a tuba player or an electronic producer, controlling software is a vital aspect of modern music production and performance.

Over the 2 hour session, learners will use various MIDI controllers such as Ableton Push and other launchpad hardware to create and control loop based electronic music.

Please note whilst this activity aims to widen participation it is promoting a specific opportunity at Leicester College.
