Pathways to Law


The Pathways to Law Programme is a two year programme for school students from Year 12 to Year 13 who are interested in studying Law at university.

As part of the programme students will be involved in a range of sessions over the two years at the university covering a diverse range of topics, including choosing and applying to a university, CV and interview techniques and workshops on different areas of the Law covering both Criminal and Commercial.

Students will also take part in an e-mentoring programme, have access to work experience placements and take part in a residential conference in the summer between Years 12 and 13 to give students a taste of life at university and to take part in a range of workshops, debates and lecture.

  • Identify what a legal degree and career involves
  • Understand what it is like studying law at university
  • Gain experience of university life and of legal work
