Our large scale problem solving events will take place in May 2017 and welcome Year 7 students from schools across the city and county. Six school groups will join us on each day for a hands-on morning developing skills in problem solving, team work and communication. Following an introduction to university, students will work in small groups with current students to undertake a Campus Tour Challenge, an interactive campus tour where students test their map-reading skills, ability to prioritise tasks and effective time management skills as they solve clues to locate buildings and facilities on campus. Participants will then complete a practical team building activity working in groups to test their ability to plan, think logically and manage a budget!
