Flat 108 is a studio flat within Leicester City centre and is designed to help young people with a disability or learning disability to see if they can cope as well as look after themselves. This flat simulates real life training and day to day living in a supportive environment.
The Y has a dedicated transitions support team that focus on young people whilst having detailed knowledge of resources and close links to other agencies. This means the right support and training can be put in place for each individual case. This means each person is given a tailor made experience. Flat 108 is primarily aimed at those aged 16- 25. Services are free for 16- 18 year olds whilst a small charge will apply to those aged 19- 25.
Please see the resources page for a flat 108 information leaflet and the flat 108 referral form.
