Reach are offering local teachers the opportunity to attend the NEON Summer Symposium in June. NEON – the National Education Opportunities Network is an organisation committed to support those involved in widening access to higher education and social mobility. The conference is a 2 day event, normally costing £250 per head, which will be attended by practitioners from universities, schools and colleges from across the country all committed to widening access and sharing best practice.
The subject for this years conference is on the progress and challenges for widening access. Further information about the programme is being updated here.
This year the conference is being held at the University of Leicester and as such the Reach Partnership is offering to pay the day delegate fee for up to 10 teachers from Leicester and Leicestershire Schools.
In order to maximise the uptake we are offering delegates 1 or 2 day attendance, depending on their preference. Please note we do not cover accommodation.
